The novel coronavirus outbreak has increasingly spread and brought huge suffering and loss to people since late January, 2020. Shaolin cultural centers from across the world actively made donations for the epidemic prevention at home and dully cooperated with the nation to fight against the epidemic outbreak at the call of abbot Yongxin.

Toronto Shaolin Cultural Center donated medical supplies and donations in three batches to the domestic under the guidance of principle Shi Yanchong: the first batch of medical supplies in 57 boxes included 28,500 masks, which is equivalent to 75,000 yuan; the second batch of donation 139,301 yuan; the third batch of donation 25,900 yuan.

Amid the outbreak, the cultural center organized students and believers to sit in meditation, calm down and maintain the mindfulness, jointly praying for the end of the outbreak across the world. (Edited by Zou Xiang and pictures from the Toronto Shaolin Cultural Center)
